As winter arrives, our mission at Heritage Properties of “putting people first” takes on an important meaning as winter operations and preparations get underway. Living in New England, the weather can be unpredictable – but Heritage Properties is committed to ensuring the safety and comfort of our residents across our portfolio, day-in and day-out.
One of the most important ways we can keep everyone safe is by staying ahead of snow removal. In advance of any scheduled snow plowing, our team will send out text alerts to inform you about when snow plowing will occur. To prevent delays and keep parking lots safe, we strongly encourage residents to sign up for text alerts—a quick and easy way to keep informed. Simply log into your RentCafé account, click “Edit Profile,” check the “Allow Text (SMS) Notifications” box, and save your contact information. If you need assistance, our team is always happy to help!
Along with preparing for snow, we’ve also provided a few reminders below to help you get ready for colder temperatures and ensure a smooth and safe season for all:
Review your building’s snow plowing guidelines for important parking and snow removal details.
Stay informed about your City’s snow bans and find out where you can park during snow events.
Check your City’s winter operations for information on sidewalk clearing and any winter weather alerts.
Keep an eye on local weather forecasts to plan ahead for upcoming travel or local activities.
Make sure all windows are properly closed and locked to maintain heat and prevent cold air from entering.
And remember, our emergency maintenance line is always available 24/7 if you have any immediate requests. By being proactive, we can make the most of the season and stay safe and comfortable. Wishing all our residents a joyful winter season and thank you for choosing to be a part of our community at Heritage Properties!
