Waterhead
850 Lawrence Street, Lowell, MA
Waterhead is a historic redevelopment of an existing mill building into 71 one-bedroom and studio apartments. Completed in 2020, Waterhead's interiors feature historic mill details, stainless appliances, and airy, over-sized windows. Prior to Waterhead’s renovation, the mill was previously home to Ramalho’s West End Gym, a local boxing club that was frequented by Lowell’s own Micky Ward. As a historic property, this project was supported by federal and state historic tax credits.
